Hong Kong, (May 16th 2005) – Targus Asia Pacific has launched
the ultimate in case design with the new and unique Platinum Series.
The Platinum Series includes three case designs. Each case has
been carefully constructed to incorporate unique and functional
features that result in the ultimate carry case design. Each case
offers superior protection for your notebook computer and is individually
designed to fit your lifestyle.
All Platinum cases include the Targus patented Safe Port® protection
system using a suspension cradle constructed from Neoprene to protect
the notebook computer. The elastic neoprene sling is connected between
the opposite walls within the main notebook compartment to absorb
shocks and impacts during travel.
Each case also includes a ‘Find Me’ recovery tag with
a personal identification code that is unique to each case. If your
case is lost in transit, the finder can contact us and we will arrange
for your case to be returned to you. You can register your case at

All cases also include ergonomic features to ensure maximum comfort.
The BalancePro strap is designed to evenly distribute weight. Each
strap is constructed from two sides of elastic webbing that act
as shock absorbers to further protect your notebook and provide
maximum comfort to you. All zips use our EasyGripZip moulded zip
pulls and there is a lockable zipper pull on the notebook compartment.
All handles are ErgoHandles; smooth sculpted handles shaped to give
comfort and grip.
All cases are also designed with much thought on the requirements
of business travel. Each case is top loading for quick access to
your notebook. A spacious zip down workstation includes CD/DVD sleeve
which holds up to 4 disks, passport/ air ticket pouch, pen loops,
business card holder, zippered coin pocket, key clip and mesh pocket
for mobile accessory storage. A rear zippered pocket is included
on each case for easy accessible additional storage and a luggage
strap for attachment to your rolling travel cases. All cases also
include a removable mesh pouch for those cables and accessories
ensure you are organised on the go.
The Platinum CL is the optimum choice to transport your notebook
computer. Including all Platinum Series features and with an additional
document compartment with two divided file sections, this case ensure
you keep all your business accessories and paperwork organised.
The Platinum EL is perfect for the corporate professional. Including
all the Series features but also incorporates an expandable clothing
compartment with 4.5cm width expandable section for overnight travel.
The Platinum SL is designed especially for the frequent business
traveller. With a main compartment that fits notebooks up to 14.1
screens and AirTrack, easy glide pneumatic wheels for a durable,
quiet and shock absorbing ride. The case includes a concealed zippered
pocket with an innovative locked trolley handle and side pocket
with a mesh water bottle holder to ensure you keep your water close
by. There is a document compartment with two divided file sections
and a clothing compartment offering efficient storage for overnight
travel.
All cases have been quality tested and are covered by the Targus
lifetime warranty to ensure these cases are with you for life. Each
case is constructed from the highest grade leather with the strongest
dobby nylon and superior soft but tear resistant two-tone lining.

is offered at an SRP of HK$1125 and the Platinum SL (TER001AP) is
